Eastern Palace Suite

Eastern Beauty

Today I want to share with you a card I made for a Demonstrator Swap that I participated in using the Eastern Palace Suite.

I really like all the colors in the Eastern Palace Designers Series Paper, which is why I had a hard time choosing which sheet of DSP to use. I decided to use one of the New In-Colors Tranquil Tide as my cardstock base color along with a layer of Very Vanilla Cardstock and Tranquil Tide DSP from the Eastern Palace Suite.  The Gold Foil and Natural Gold Ribbon adds such an elegant look along with adding a strip of the Eastern Gold Vinyl Stickers.  Personally,  I'm not a big fan of stickers on cards, but I must say...I think the Gold Vinyl Strip added to the beauty of the card.

High Tide Meets Seasonal Layers

Relaxing by the Waterfront

Today I want to share with you a card that I made for my Stampin' Up! Club using the Stamp Set "High Tide" and the "Seasonal Layers" Thinlits.  I got my inspiration from a card that I received in a swap (no name was on the back so I can't give her credit) and from many cards that I have seen online from other fellow demonstrators.  So with a combination of many ideas, colors, and a little twist of my own.... this is what was the finished card.

This was a great card to show how to use a few  colors of Ink, Stamping Sponges and Sponge Daubers to create a stunning waterfront.

  I wish I was sitting in that chair looking over the beautiful water, enjoying the cool breeze and the birds in the sky.  It just looks so relaxing.

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day/Birthday Card

 

Today I want to share with you a Happy Father's Day card we made at my Stampin' Up! Card Club using the stamp set "Guy Greetings".  This card is not only a great Father's Day card would also make a fantastic Happy Birthday or Retirement card for that special guy, just change the greeting inside the card. 

Quick and easy with just a few Cardstock colors, New Wood Texture DSP and one Ink pad.  I used Early Espresso to stamp the car and a Blender Pen to add a bit of color. I layered it and then popped it up with dimensionals.
