Nana's Sweetheart

Welcome to Punchin' Up!

My Granddaughter's Project

Today isn't a post about cards or a paper project, it's a Proud Nana moment.  My Granddaughter loves to do any type of "Crafting" as she calls it.  It could be beading, stamping, punching, card making,  she loves it all, but it is called "Crafting".  She is always telling me, "Nana, I want all these "Crafting" things you have."  Well, I always tell her that she can have it all someday, (her mother says only when she has a place of her own, LOL)   My daughter knows how much "Crafting" things I have.

Ok...enough on the subject of how much stuff I have.

Now back to the story... my Granddaughter, Annalyn wanted me to teach her to sew, but I must tell you .... she is only 5 years old. I said sure we could make something and she was so excited.
My dream, my granddaughter wants to do all the things I love to do.

Here is her creation, granted it's just a few seams, but she is so proud of her accomplishment and so am I.

We actually made the bow using the Big Shot and the Bow Builder Die.  The bow is made from the same pink and black dot material, but she is holding it backwards so you don't see the right side.
Well she preceded to tell me... after we made the bow, that she would like it different.

So... she drew me a picture of what it should look like, just in case I didn't understand.  There needed to be a flower in the middle, as she drew an arrow to show me that.

How cute is this....
Just a Proud Nana Moment!!!!

Thank you for stopping by and don't forget to go to my online store to purchase any Stampin' Up! products, like the Bow Builder Die that we used to make the bow.  Get it now before it is gone as it is on the retiring list.

Have a great day,
Thanks,
Cathy

  2. How lucky are you to have a grand daughter who loves crafts. And I bet she turns out to be really good. For 5, that dress is outstanding! Most 5 yr olds have trouble coloring inside the lines.
