Succulent Treat Planter
Here is another project that we made at my Easter 3D Class. But it isn't just for Easter, I made some of these succulent planters this week for my Grandkids' Teachers for
"Teacher Appreciation Week."
Their teachers loved them.
But wait...there's more...
this cute succulent isn't just a plant, the planter is filled with treats.
Check it out... the top comes off
and you can fill it up with treats.
Such a fun way to give a little something
Especially chocolate!
YUMMM
So hurry to my online store so you can purchase the Succulent Framelits as they are retiring and supply is selling fast.
Products used for the Succulent Plant
Cardstock: Pear Pizzazz
Ink: Pear Pizzazz, Rich Razzleberry
Framelits: Succulent Framelits (142757)
Layer Circle Framelits (141708)
I first sponged all the Pear Pizzazz Framelit cutouts with Pear Pizzazz ink, then sponged the tips with Rich Razzleberry ink. I curled the edges with my bone folder and glue the pieces together. I then used a hot glue gun to glue the Succulent to the Spanish moss that is glue to the circle piece. I added two more circles with dimensionals so it would be more like a lid and not slip off the planter. (as you can see in the third picture) You can add any saying that fits the occasion. I tied the saying on with bakers twine to one of the candies. Then you can just add more treats.
Please visit my online store to purchase any of the products used to make this project or to purchase any products on your wish list to creeat your masterpiece.
Thanks for letting me share my fun projects with you
Take care,
Cathy
