Curvy Keepsake Bunny Box

Welcome to Punchin' Up!
By Cathy Stephenson

Sweet Little Bunny

How cute is this?
This adorable little bunny is just waiting to be filled
with a yummy treat for gift giving.

I created this bunny using the Curvy Keepsake Box, cardstock, a few punches, linen thread and a Tea Lace Paper Doily.
I was quite please how it turned out.  I just can't help but smile when I see it.
To show my appreciation to you for viewing my Blog, I have posted basic instructions below so you can make one too.  If you share it with your friends please give me credit and send them to my Blog.

Punches used: Word Window, 1" Circle, 1/2" Circle,
3/8" Circle, Large Oval, Itty Bitty Punch Pack (small Heart), Festive Flower Builder Punch, Ex. Large Oval, 2 1/2" Circle
Cardstock: Tip Top Taupe, Blushing Bride, Whisper white, Basic Black
Accessories: Tea Lace Paper Doily, Linen thread

Sponge all the Tip top Taupe pieces with Tip Top Taupe ink
Sponge all the Blushing Bride pieces with Blushing Bride ink
Put your Curvy Keepsake Box together
Face goes on the round tab side of the box
Add dimensionals to the cheeks and attach to the lower part of the Keepsake box front
Put your eyes together and attach with Multipurpose Liquid Glue ("green glue" as I call it)
Attach whiskers to the nose with green glue, let dry a bit and then attach to the cheeks with more green glue
Attach the mouth with glue and slide under the cheeks
Hold the two pieces of the hat crown together and slide under the Word Window cutout in the hat brim and bend up.  This will provide a bend/score line for you.  This is the amount you will glue under the brim.  Glue the top of the crown with a small dot of glue.  Glue the hat to the doily.
Put the ears together and attach to the crown of the hat with glue.
Put together the bow and attach it to the brim in front of the ears with glue.
Turn your hat over and cut a slit in the doily between the Word Window cutout so it will fit on the Curvy Keepsake Box top.

I hope you have fun making this sweet little bunny.

Flowering Fields

Flowering Fields Punch Art Picture

Isn't this such a pretty picture using the stamp set "Flowering Fields"?  I love how it turned out, don't you?

This was so fun to create.

I started off with Whisper White cardstock sponging the clouds and greenery. Then I stamped the leaves and added the different flower stems. After the stamping was done, that is when the creativity on my part began.  I had to decide what type of flowers I wanted to create and colors.  I still felt it needed something extra, so I added the lady bug and the butterfly.  Boy, stamping that little Butterfly, cutting it out and layering it to give it a 3D look, was a challenge.  But...this is what developed, a great art piece, I think.

Stamp Set: Flowering Fields

Cardstock: Whisper White, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Pink Pirouette, Wisteria Wonder, Real Read, Basic Black

Ink: Old Olive, Soft Sky, Daffodil Delight, BlackBerry Bliss, Wisteria Wonder, Mossy Meadow

Accessories:  Brights Collection Stampin' Write Markers, Mossy Meadow Stampin' Write Marker, Early Espresso Candy Dots, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Pearl Basic Jewels

Punches: 1/2" Circle, 3/8" Circle, Petite Petals, Itty Bitty Accents,
Blossom Bunch
